Hse engineer – Rio de Janeiro/RJ

Main responsibilities

• Carry out technical analyses and studies for Loss Prevention and Risk Assessment, including QRAs, HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, HSE Cases, and Process Safety Audits.
• Use main software packages for consequence assessment and reliability assessment.
• Develop specialized studies such as Fire propagation and smoke dispersion, Gas dispersion, Explosion, Object drop, and Vessel collision studies.
• Manage HSE Projects worldwide, adhering to the Corporate Business Model from both technical and managerial perspectives.
• Develop project schedules and deliverable timelines under supervision.
• Prepare project deliverables including technical reports, project performance documentation, and engineering drawings.
• Ensure all activities comply with the RINA Quality Management System (QMS).

Requirements

• Previous relevant experience in a similar role.
• Highly proficient in spoken and written English (it will be tested)
• Proven knowledge of GEXCON FLACS.
• Expertise in dropped object and vessel collision studies is a plus.
• Previous experience with Petrobras is also a plus.
