Barter trading desk manager – Barueri/SP

Responsabilidades

• Lead the trading desk, coordinating and executing agricultural commodities trading operations, advanced Barter, and hedging activities.
• Analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and transform insights into effective commercial strategies.
• Develop and maintain close relationships with trading partners, clients, stakeholders, and internal teams (Credit & Collections, Legal, CSR, Internal Controls, Finance).
• Manage exposure and monitor risks in trading operations, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensure execution, control, and settlement of trading and advanced Barter operations, maintaining compliance and accuracy of information.
• Perform commodity pricing and component analysis to support commercial decisions.
• Provide technical and strategic support to field teams and internal departments.
• Design and deliver training sessions on processes, fostering team development.
• Support internal and external audits, presenting evidence of compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, promoting operational excellence and sustainable results.

Requisitos

• Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in the agribusiness sector, with at least 5 years in commodities trading and advanced Barter operations.
• Strong knowledge of risk management, hedging, and trade settlement.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills, strategic vision, and results orientation.
• Proven experience in team leadership and positive influence.
• Collaborative profile with interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Salesforce and SAP platforms.
• Fluent English.
