Responsabilidades
- Lead the strategy and be the guardian of the complete end-to-end of the corn and soybean portfolio. This includes responsibility for the product lifecycle, developing the medium/long-term plan for each brand, leading the channeling of new launches, defining and supporting the strategy for the development of new products (genetics, traits, IST, and other technologies), managing in-licensing partnerships, and ensuring strong alignment between functions to deliver new products according to business demand. The role is a fundamental link between marketing, R&D, agronomy, finance, P&S, and external partenerships translating the business strategy into initiatives that will impact the company’s results.
- Ensure the official vision of product life cycle, per brand and crop.
- Manage all information to create a complete vision of PLC since the launch until the phase-out.
- Capture and organize all relevants information to define the product cycle.
- Build and secure products, numbers, strategy and managing Risks and Opportunities to create a medium/long term.
- Ensure all discussions and communication with local and global team to capture the inputs.
- Incorporate new tehcnologies and marketing tendencies to create a reliable plan.
- Colaborate with the definition of price, cost and brand strategic plan.
- Monitor and anticipate market dynamics (competitors, growers, investments, new technologies).
- Bring the vision of LTP to SPP discussions.
- Support the meetings with Portfolio, Gaps&Needs analyzes per branc and general insights from the marketing and competitors.
- Create a product value proposition with business case for each product considering all possibilities of brand (volumes for the first 3 years, pricing, cost, etc.) to support the brand channeling decision.
- Ensure a clear value proposition for the new hybrid/variety in the brand to avoid cannibalism of active portfolio.
- Support the decisions to new products in stages 6.1 and 6.2.
- Lead the pipeline and portfolio team, capturing and selecting topics for discussion, scheduling meetings, ensuring action tracking, and bringing relevant topics to the discussion.
- Ensure communication of discussions and decisions to the organization.
- Prospecting for new business partners to meet empresa’s strategic demands.
- To capture and transform new ideas into projects that allow for an analysis of their viability for Syngenta.
- Ensuring that all obligations related to in-licensing commercial agreements are being followed and are in compliance.
- Mantaining good communication and interaction with the crop protection team.
- Supporting market intelligence discussions for competitiveness.
- Supporting teams with global functions and ensuring alignment with the DOA.
Requisitos
- Solid experience in portfolio management, product strategy and marketing execution.
- Strong finantial acumen with proven P&L management.
- Strong technical knowlodge in seeds crops, especially corn and soy.
- Deep understanding of agricultural markets, especially seeds and technology.
- Expertise in seeds strategy development and product life cycle.
- Strong cross fucional collaboration and influence skills.
- Ability to navigate in complex and diverse environments.
- Ability to connect long term strategy with short term execution.
- Proactive and data driven decision making.
