Diagnostic and scientific research specialist – Campinas/SP

Responsabilidades

• Perform and supervise advanced laboratory analyses in virology, microbiology, cell culture, and molecular biology (e.g., viral isolation and characterization, qPCR, ELISA).
• Conduct studies on pathogenicity, immunogenicity, and genetic variability.
• Ensure traceability and integrity of generated data.
• Standardize and validate diagnostic techniques for infectious diseases.
• Lead and conduct scientific investigations and molecular epidemiology studies.
• Prepare technical reports and present conclusions to multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in internal and external audits, providing technical support.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation projects.
• Collaborate effectively with Production, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and R&D areas to resolve complex issues.
• Participate in project meetings and coordinate/inform other departments when necessary.

Requisitos

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine, Biological Sciences, Pharmacy, or related fields.
• Postgraduate degree (Master’s and/or Ph.D.) in virology, microbiology, or related areas.
• Min 3 years of practical experience in laboratory diagnostics and scientific investigation.
• Solid knowledge in virology, cell culture, microbiology, molecular biology techniques, viral titration, ELISA, virus neutralization, and molecular epidemiology.
• Proficiency in English and Portuguese (oral and written).
• Knowledge of laboratory biosafety and pathogen handling.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards (GMP, GLP, ISO 17025).
• Knowledge of veterinary pharmaceutical product legislation (MAPA).
