Responsabilidades
- Drive and align the fungicide development programs in Brazil according with the Global CP Strategy and with the Regional Priorities.
- Lead the fungicide programs across all crops and focused on the SMS in the Brazil territory to establishing priorities according to the Business demand and opportunities.
- Be the technical reference for fungicide Control products in the R&D organization at Brazil territory and Regional Level, across all crops.
- Promote best practice sharing and foster innovation and creativity within CP R&D.
- Develop a strategy for fungal resistance and disease management in major crops.
- Global Plant Pathology Stakeholder Alignment: Fungicide Management Strategies.
- Support the processes to capture inputs from MKT, Technical Support team from all levels (Global, Regional and Territory), through PLT´s /Pro Team and transform them into projects.
- Support activities for the implementation of development (samples forecast/request, protocols inputs, capabilities and staff/trialists training needs).
- Align with Global Product Biology leads, the Assets strategy and translate them in product development priorities for the Region and territories.
- Actively participate in the process of data analysis, summarization, conclusions and recommendation of projects, aligning it with global / regional / territory MKT, ensuring alignment across the region.
- Ensure technical consistency across Brazil regarding product knowledge, trial methodologies, biological targets, crop sectors to support proper product testing and positioning.
- Ensure that the CP product recommendation inside a solution or offer is consistent with the Product (AI), good agriculture practices and label recommendations.
- Ensuring the best knowledge of our products technical profiles and differences from current and upcoming competitors (competitive intelligence).
- Support the sustainability of Syngenta AI´s through leading proper resistance management strategies across crops and influence the Territorial Resistance Committees forums (industry related groups, such as FRAC and others).
- Provide full support and co-lead the company participation in technical Congresses, external workshops, R&D Working Groups with external researchers, like CONSFIT and others.
- Support Asset management teams in developing data to enhance overall PLCM and help drive generic defense of active ingredients including intellectual property extension.
- Search for new business opportunities and for new technologies that can bring competitive advantages to Syngenta and turn them into project whenever feasible.
Requisitos
- Graduated Agronomical Engineer.
- Post graduation/ Master degree in Planta protection or related fields will be considered a differential.
- Ability to understand and communicate product biology information and processes.
- Influence and negotiation skills.
- Team management experience is also a must for this position.
- Project management skills and abilities.
- Ensure HSE compliance among the trial units.
- Budget management.
- Experience with field trials.
- Advanced English is a must for this position.
- Advanced knowledge in R&D Strategies (Plant protection, Agronomy of key Crops, Market).
- Deep knowledge about key pest targets (according to indication).
- Knowledge of company Governance processes (DeCo, Portfolio Cycle, Pro-Teams, etc.) and tools.
- Understanding or Marketing principles and Customer behavior.
- 5 years experience in working within the R&D or other technical / commercial organization with recognized expertise and leadership in product development activities.
- Project Management knowledge and experience working in project teams cross regions or functions.
