Responsabilidades
- Lead the execution of the Scientific & Regulatory Affairs agenda for Brazil, aligning scientific, regulatory, and advocacy activities with business priorities and regional and global SRA direction.
- Engage in science‑based regulatory advocacy, contributing technical expertise and evidence to help shape policies, standards, and guidance that impact the Company’s portfolio and future innovation.
- Serve as the scientific and regulatory authority for claims and marketing communications evaluation and approval, ensuring compliance, credibility, and appropriate substantiation.
- Ensure compliance continuity across the full portfolio after product launch.
- Partner closely with Marketing, R&D, Legal, Public Affairs, and Franchise teams to anticipate regulatory risks and enable compliant, timely business decisions.
- Monitor and assess emerging scientific, regulatory, and public policy trends, translating complexity into clear implications and recommendations for senior leaders.
- Support the market on IMCRs (Incident Management and Crisis Response), providing scientific and regulatory expertise to enable effective, timely, and compliant responses.
- Represent the empresa with regulators, industry associations, and scientific forums as appropriate, building credibility and constructive dialogue.
Requisitos
- Advanced degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Toxicology, Chemistry, Biology, Public Health, or a related scientific discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in scientific and/or regulatory affairs within food, beverage, consumer goods, pharmaceutical, or similarly regulated industries.
- Strong knowledge of Brazilian regulatory frameworks, with demonstrated experience engaging with ANVISA and other relevant authorities.
- Proven expertise in regulatory advocacy, claims substantiation, labeling, marketing communications review, and product compliance across the product life cycle.
- Ability to influence cross‑functional and external stakeholders in a matrixed organization without direct people management responsibility.
- Strong judgment, analytical thinking, and comfort operating in complex, evolving regulatory environments.
- Experience working in emerging markets and within global organizations strongly preferred.
- Fluent in Portuguese and English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
