Analista de meio ambiente – Cabo de Santo Agostinho/PE

Responsabilidades

• Assist with compliance of local, state, and federal environmental regulations and Amazon policy.
• Assist in driving an environmentally responsible culture within the organization.
• Assist and support thorough and accurate environmental audits for continuous improvement.
• Lead, coordinate and supervise the activities of waste coordinators at the site.
• Prioritize and manage multiple assignments concurrently.
• Represent Amazon at appropriate levels with governmental agencies during inspections.
• Work collaboratively with other Environmental Assurance and Protection (EAP) Team in BR, contractors and consultants to ensure compliance and conformance with the Amazon Environmental System.
• Drive the completion of environmental incident investigations.
• Assist with managing and handling regulated waste programs.
• Tracking of air emissions and other Key Operational metrics related to environmental performance.
• Assist with spill clean-ups and emergency response.

Requisitos

• QUALIFICAÇÕES MÍNIMAS
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Experience serving as an environmental technical resource or program specialist.
  • Proficient with MS Excel, Word, Windows Operating Systems, and Environmental Management Systems.
  • Experience and ability to dive deep with engineering teams to understand operations process for environmental risk assessment.
  • Knowledge of Brazilian environmental regulations.
  • Experience engaging with Regulatory Agency in permit application.
• QUALIFICAÇÕES PREFERENCIAIS
  • Bachelor’s Degree in chemical or environmental engineering, or environmental science or related field of study.
  • Preferred advanced English.
