Embryologist – Qatar

Responsabilidades

• Assist veterinarians in equine reproduction procedures.
• Handle gametes and embryos: oocyte and embryo identification, sperm evaluation and preparation, embryo evaluation.
• Prepare media, dishes, equipment and the laboratory environment.
• Perform vitrification, cryopreservation, storage and warming of gametes and embryos.
• Run quality control routines and analyse clinical data.
• Keep logbooks, patient records, SOPs and inventories up to date.
• Take part in R&D projects and help test and develop new reproductive technologies.
• Manage lab supplies, procurement, cleaning and maintenance.
• Join emergency and after-hours duties as required.

Requisitos

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology or related sciences
• 2-5 years of experience, preferably in clinical embryology, an equine reproduction laboratory or a related area with a similar workflow
• Proven knowledge of biology, embryology and/or assisted reproductive technologies
• Proven skills in basic laboratory techniques
• Good written and verbal English communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and medical computer software
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays when required
