Role Responsibilities
- Relationship Management: Identify strategies to build and maintain long-term relationships with farmers and agricultural stakeholders. Define efficient processes to onboard and secure farmland for Terradot’s ERW projects through a team of farmer engagement managers.
- Contracting & Farmer Success: Develop and implement robust contracts balancing legal, operational, and relational needs. Create a farmer success framework to reduce land churn and enhance satisfaction.
- Strategy & Large Scale Partnerships: Provide strategic insights to support operational, commercial, and ESG teams. Establish partnerships with agribusiness conglomerates and cooperatives, securing large-scale project sites.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as a key communicator and problem-solver for cross-functional teams (e.g., scientific, financial) and external stakeholders (e.g., quarries, farms).
Background and Requirements
- 7+ years in agribusiness, agricultural extension, or similar industries in Brazil.
- Proven success in building and managing long-term stakeholder relationships, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience negotiating and drafting contracts for agricultural or land-use agreements.
- Experience in managing field teams.
- English required.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Enhanced Rock Weathering, Remineralizers or similar sustainable agriculture practices.
- Background in working with innovative products or services for agricultural use.
- Proficiency in CRM tools to track engagement.
