Engenheiro agrônomo – Petrolina/PE ou Juazeiro/BA
Autônomo / PJ
The role
You will be the company’s agronomic presence in the São Francisco Valley. You will support our current clients in the region, help the sales team acquire new clients, and work with our science and product teams to improve the platform. It’s a hands-on role that combines fieldwork, data analysis, and client relationship management.
What are you going to do
- Supporting current clients in the São Francisco Valley: onboarding, training field teams on capture protocols, troubleshooting, and ensuring that each client extracts real value from the platform each harvest season.
- Analyze videos and data generated by our platform: review the quality of the captures, validate the results against real-world field data, and report anomalies to our science team.
- Improve the product: Bring agronomic insights to the product and science teams. Tell us what producers really need, what works in the field, and where the platform should evolve.
- Support the sales team: participate in meetings with producers and field demonstrations as the technical voice, help translate agronomy into commercial conversations, and follow up on pilot projects with potential clients.
- Bring in new clients: use your network of contacts in the region to open doors with producers, exporters, and cooperatives. You won’t be starting from scratch: we have a portfolio of leads from local farms ready for you to call, visit, and build relationships with. The new business you help generate is remunerated with a commission in addition to your monthly salary, plus a performance bonus.
What we are looking for
- Degree in Agronomic Engineering with active registration at CREA (Regional Council of Engineering and Agronomy).
- Experience in irrigated fruit farming, preferably table grapes, in the São Francisco Valley.
- Fluent English (mandatory) : you will work daily with an international team and clients.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a car (mandatory): the role involves regular visits to farms throughout the region. We can provide a work car, or, if you prefer to use your own vehicle, we will cover fuel costs.
- Native or fluent Portuguese.
- Spanish is a major advantage (we operate throughout Latin America).
- Proficiency with technology: smartphone apps, spreadsheets, data analysis. No programming required, but you must enjoy working with data.
- A network of contacts among producers, exporters, and technical consultants in the region is a great advantage.
- Autonomy and reliability: you will manage your own schedule and deliverables.
What we offer
- Full-time contract as a service provider (PJ), with competitive monthly compensation.
- Commission on new clients you bring in, plus performance bonuses.
- Portfolio of local farm leads to work with from day one, so your commission earnings don’t depend solely on your own network.
- Company car provided, or fuel costs covered if you prefer to use your own vehicle.
- Modem and Starlink subscription provided. Scans need to be sent from the farm immediately after capture, so we guarantee you always have a reliable connection in the field.
- Complete training on the platform, capture protocols, and workflows. You bring the agronomy; we teach you everything about our technology.
- A front-row seat in an international agtech company expanding in Brazil, with direct access to the founding team.
- Real influence on the product roadmap as we expand into new crops.
