Responsabilidades
- Plan, discuss, and execute the agenda for new product developments, applications, technological reviews, and technical assistance in the region, aligned with empresa Food Specialties’ strategy for the meat and processed meat segment.
- Evaluate and provide technical recommendations related to the application of new ingredients, formulations, or food processing technologies using empresa products, for the meat and processed meat segment.
- Develop food ingredients/additive formulations for injected, emulsified, marinated, cured, and other meat and processed meat products.
- Operate and validate typical meat, poultry and seafood industry processes and equipment in the field of meat emulsions, injected meat, cured meat and seafood processes.
- Conduct bench and pilot tests focusing on functionality, stability, and technological performance.
- Evaluate parameters such as water retention, texture, color, yield, and shelf life in various meat matrices (beef, pork, poultry, and seafood).
- Demonstrate knowledge of ingredient functionality and technological interactions in meat systems and blends.
- Interact with customers and internal teams to provide technical support and develop customized solutions.
Requisitos
- Essential
- Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
- Advanced English; Intermediate Spanish.
- Desired
- Postgraduate degree (lato or stricto sensu) in related areas.
