Industry technology specialist – Araucária/PR

Responsabilidades

• Collaborating directly with empresa customers in implementing and troubleshooting analytical methodologies, providing HPLC support, offering laboratory training and other lab related activities in the corn-ethanol production.
• Working alongside ITS colleagues and Account Managers, you will play a pivotal role in comprehending customers’ laboratory needs and processes to deliver world class technical services and exchange industry insights.

Requisitos

• Scientific skills based on a university degree in Chemistry, Chemical / Biotech / Bioprocess Engineering or related.
• Proficiency in instrumentation, including method development, data analysis and troubleshooting in chromatographic methods such as HPLC, GC and IC.
• Relevant knowledge in other laboratory equipment used for process quality control (spectrophotometer, NIR, colorimeters, compositional analysis, etc).
• Relevant knowledge of fermentation processes.
• Experience within enzyme and yeast applications in Bioenergy would be a plus.
• Ability to translate technical insights and data into customer-relatable values.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Willingness to work supporting customers.
• A flair for providing technical training – internally as well as externally.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken Portuguese and English, Spanish would be a plus.
• Ability to travel extensively, mainly within Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay (up to 60% of time).
