Responsabilities
- Main Tasks:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to expand Novonesis market presence and customer base in Latin America.
- Sales Management: Lead and manage the regional sales and technical-sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Business Development: Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities and market trends within the region.
- Customer Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Operational Oversight: Oversee daily operations, budgeting, forecasting, and performance metrics for the region.
- Other Tasks:
- Reporting: Communicate with global and regional stakeholders regarding regional operations, including financial performance, customer satisfaction, and new business opportunities.
- Problem Solving: Resolve customer complaints and concerns professionally and in a timely manner.
- Stakeholder management: Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and build long-term partnerships.
Requirements
- Industrial/technical background
- Worked in roles related to feed production, livestock management, or veterinary services. Experience in agriculture or biotechnology industries is highly beneficial.
- Strong strategic planning and business development skills are essential. Candidates should be adept at market analysis, identifying growth opportunities, and developing effective sales strategies.
- Leadership and team management skills are critical, as the role involves overseeing a regional team and strong coordination with the global stakeholders.
- Familiarity with advanced technologies used in animal health and nutrition, such as precision feeding systems, nutrient analysis tools, health monitoring devices, and data analytics platforms
- Knowledge of software tools like Salesforce and Microsoft office.
- Educational Background
- Recognized qualification in agriculture, livestock production, veterinary medicine, animal science or a related field.
- Relevant professional skills:
- Strong business acumen, strategic planning, leadership, and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of animal health industry and market dynamics.
- Years of relevant experience:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales, business development, or commercial management within the animal health and nutrition industry.
- Language requirements and proficiency level:
- English, Portuguese, Spanish
