Production technology laboratory assistant – Patos de Minas/MG

Responsabilidades

• Execution, evaluation, and documentation of microbiological, and physical-chemical analyses. Follow internal protocols.
• Perform defined tasks, following standard practices and procedures, applying company policies and procedures to solve routine problems, making decisions in simpler situations and receiving guidance in more complex situations.
• Support of pilot scale and production trials, e.g. fermenter inoculation, downstream processing, formulation, and packaging of biological active ingredients.
• Prepare and ensure that there is all material for the analysis and testing, e.g. culture medium, petri dish, falcon tube.
• Independent planning and execution of laboratory tasks, including discussion of results within the team and, where applicable, in cross functional teams.
• Responsibility for assigned laboratory equipment (e.g. microscopes, climate chambers, Micropipette, BOD, scales, refrigerator), including functionality checks and maintenance.
• Preparation and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for methods.

Requisitos

• QUALIFICAÇÕES MÍNIMAS
  • Confident user of MS Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese.
  • High degree of initiative, flexibility, teamwork, and reliability, combined with a strong commitment to quality.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Organizational skills, combined with good analytical thinking.
  • Good hand eye coordination and motor skills (e.g. for weighing, transferring, dispensing, and pipetting).
• QUALIFICAÇÕES PREFERENCIAIS
  • Knowledge of standard microbiological methods are an advantage.
  • English skills are an advantage.
