
Project officer – Franca/SP, Patrocínio e Poços de Caldas/MG

Responsabilidades
- Coordinate and monitor launched projects with the objective to drive positive impact in the projects’ landscape.
- Coordinate PUR teams and external partners to leverage technical expertise, field knowledge and data insights.
- Be responsible for the subprojects’ successful roll out, i.e. meeting quantitative and qualitative targets in time while ensuring that the project budget is respected, until the end of the project.
- Work hand in hand with Project and Data team members, KAMs and Specialists.
- Project management (coordinate, supervise and monitor).
- Stakeholders management (Engage and train).
- Internal coordination and reporting during the project implementation.
- Team management and administration for implementing partners.
- Support other teams in project design (validation of retro planning, financial and human resources).
- Support other teams in reporting to internal and external audiences.
- Support other teams in representing PUR’s operational expertise in external events when needed (meetings, webinars, conferences).
Requisitos
- QUALIFICAÇÕES MÍNIMAS
- Bachelor or higher education in Natural Resource Management, Agronomy, Forestry, Agroforestry, Rural Development or equivalent.
- Knowledge and experience in working with rural producers on agroforestry and reforestation activities.
- Ease with data collection and data management tools.
- Basic knowledge in GIS systems, spatial analysis, and remote sensing.
- Excellent project and stakeholder management skills (implementing partners, local authorities).
- A solution-driven mindset.
- Languages: Portuguese (fluent).
- Valid driver’s license and availability for frequent travel within project areas.
- Availability to reside close to Patrocínio, Poços de Calda (MG) or Franca (SP), Brazil.
- Proficient in the use of CRM and ERP.
- QUALIFICAÇÕES PREFERENCIAIS
- Knowledge of carbon certification requirements for afforestation/reforestation projects is desirable.
- Understanding of coffee agricultural supply chains, including the diversity of local stakeholders and context-specific socio-ecological challenges is desirable.
- English (intermediate) desirable.
