Quality control laboratory leader – Patos de Minas/MG

Responsabilidades

• Lead the activities of the quality control laboratory, with the objective of ensuring the quality results and compliance of the products in process, finished, developed and marketed by the company, ensuring compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements, in addition to the delivery of effective and safe products to customers.
• Monitor and perform analyses at all stages of the process, including strain re-peaking, microscopic evaluations (germination, contamination and morphology), Neubauer counts, viable conidia (CV) concentration, CFU concentration and contaminations, environmental analyses (exposure and Swab), residue analysis, disaggregation and spraying of the final product, meeting all regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Monitor the production environment and equipment through sedimentation or swab techniques, ensuring the quality of the process; preserve matrices of fungi and bacteria under appropriate conditions, periodically checking the viability.
• Monitor and fill out the process spreadsheets, issue quality reports, monitor the reports related to raw materials, prepare and review the Work Instructions (IT).
• Monitor and support the certifications of the ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and organic certification.
• Monitor the production and storage processes of the products, collecting samples and performing tests to ensure the consistency of quality over time, following the IT (Work Instructions).
• Document the results of analyses and tests in specific systems or spreadsheets, ensuring the proper recording of information and data traceability, in addition to controlling the stock and expiration of laboratory materials with the warehouse, informing the immediate superior of the need to request purchases.
• Perform quality control procedures according to established standards, ensuring that products comply with technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Interpret the results of the analyses, comparing them with the established standards, and report any deviations or non-conformities to those responsible, contributing to corrective or preventive decision-making.
• Evaluate and ensure the quality of the inoculum for the proper development of the production process, preparing it for the start of production on an industrial scale.
• In a flow chamber, remove fungi and bacteria, strictly following all the steps defined in the Work Instruction (IT).
• Perform basic maintenance of laboratory equipment, ensuring its proper functioning and the accuracy of analyses.
• Monitor and measure the equipment, recording the data in spreadsheets according to internal standards and procedures.
• Track and analyze samples of returned and retained products in shelf life testing.
• Participate in the development and validation of new analytical methods, contributing to improve processes and efficiency of quality control analysis.
• Support in conducting production tests of new products for validation of the production protocol.
• Monitor and prepare materials and culture media in general, sterilizing them in an electric autoclave.
• Pour the culture media into Petri dishes according to the demand of analysis and quality control standards.
• Respond to requests from the commercial sector, preparing demonstration materials, such as visual samples and analysis kits, for presentation.
