WHS permits compliance specialist – São Paulo/SP

Responsabilidades

• Manage and execute the permits’ renewal process, in compliance with the applicable regulation (federal, state, and local).
• Coordinate the consultants involved in the permits’ renewal process.
• Serve as a connection between consultants and multiple internal stakeholders to collect and deliver the required information, reviewing and validating it previously, to ensure that it meets the requirements established by the authorities.
• Develop long-term collaborative relationships with the stakeholders involved in the process, to ensure that the risks related to the permit’s renewals are identified and communicated early.
• Maintain permanent communication with the operations areas to update permits and licenses each time modifications are made to the facilities or processes.
• Provide support to the sites during inspection visits by authorities; Prepare and follow up on action plans to correct findings.
• Conduct inspection visits to the sites regularly to identify permit-related non-compliance issues and suggest corrective actions.
• Prepare progress reports on the permit renewal processes.
• Maintain communication with WHS Site leaders and operation leadership (Site and Station Leaders).
• Record and manage permits, licenses, and critical documents using specific software or cloud-based platform.

Requisitos

• QUALIFICAÇÕES MÍNIMAS
  • Bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental, or equivalent.
• QUALIFICAÇÕES PREFERENCIAIS
  • Knowledge of statutory compliance requirements.
  • Experience with environmental regulations.
  • Experience in warehouse operations and logistics or equivalent.
  • Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of Brazilian EHS regulations and compliance requirements.
