Your Role
- We are seeking a Regional Program Operations Manager – LATAM to coordinate and oversee our field projects across Latin America, ensuring the implementation of strategies aligned with both global and regional objectives. This role is key to the development of sustainable territories, working in close collaboration with communities, companies, NGOs, and government entities.
In this role, you will be responsible for
- Leading, at a senior level, the development and periodic revision of the regional field strategy, ensuring the effective execution of projects within set timelines and budgets.
- Managing multidisciplinary teams with a focus on high performance, strong alignment with Earthworm Foundation’s values, and tangible results delivery.
- Collaborating strategically with external partners and contributing to fundraising efforts to expand the reach and long-term impact of regional projects.
- Continuously evaluating and enhancing organizational structures and operational processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of field operations. Evaluate the organizational structure and propose continuous improvements, seeking efficiency and effectiveness in op-erations
Your Profile
- Passionate about business, supply chains, sustainable agriculture, forests, family farming, and social issues, you want to apply your skills to generate a positive impact on global challenges. With solid field experience in socially vulnerable territories in Brazil and other Latin American countries, you have in-depth knowledge of governance standards and experience in projects related to agricultural supply chains. Thanks to your strategic and pragmatic mindset, you easily work with companies, governments, and non-governmental organizations and understand how to transform challenges into opportunities for driving impact. Experience in raising funds from multinational companies and international cooperation organizations would be a great plus to be successful in the role.
- With exceptional communication skills, you articulate your ideas clearly and effectively to diverse audiences, conducting complex negotiations with diplomacy and sensitivity. Being a natural leader and experienced planner, you are able to manage multiple projects autonomously, accurately, and empathetically. Agile in your thinking with a genuine concern for team well-being you naturally handle challenging situations and know how to mobilize teams around common goals. Convinced of the value of in-person mentoring you will be available for frequent field trips and maintaining external work schedules when necessary.
Workings Conditions
- Education: Environmental Sciences, Agronomy, Administration or related (preferable)
- Experience: 10 years minimum
- Language(s): Portuguese, Spanish and English
- Employment: Hybrid, with availability for travel
- Contract: 44 hours per week (CLT)
- Location: Preferably São Paulo (SP) or Belém (PA) in Brazil
