Research associate I – Araucária/PR

What you’ll do

• Develop application methods and testing protocols using enzymes and/or yeasts to support new product and solution development;
• Plan and execute lab- and pilot-scale experiments, working closely with our technical service team;
• Lead the development of assays, protocols, and analytical processes, staying aligned with the latest scientific trends;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Technical and sales) on product development projects;
• Explore new technologies in collaboration with customers, partners, and suppliers;

We are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Food Engineering, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or related fields;
• Hands-on experience working with industrial enzymes, yeasts, or other microorganisms;
• Preferably, experience in Food, Beverage, or Baking applications, with knowledge of nutritional or functional ingredients and agricultural co-products;
• Comfortable working in collaborative and cross-functional environments;
• Strong oral and written communication skills, in English and Portuguese;
• A curious, proactive, and innovation-driven profile, with a results-oriented mindset.
